We went to Rockafeller Center and then went to Morrell's wine bar. We got to try several different things. They also had Hall Wine. One of our absolute favorites. We have not found it served at any bar-restuarant. We did find it in a grocery in NC. I bought some then and would bring it back with me, that was before the NO LIQUID rule. Wow that seems like ages ago... Geesh! It was so much fun and completely empty, because as the bartender informed us. Everyone had gone to the Hamptons!

Waldorf Astoria
Seventh Inning Stretch Yankees Game
At the Yankee's game, by the way this was at the old stadium, One of the last few games there. It was so hot... When they play the YMCA the guys that rake the dirt stop and do the YMCA! What a great treat. I was up dancing along with them. It was so hot though a lady down the row from us passed out in the back and they sent the EMT's to get his husband. It was a doozie... Yeah. So much fun.

Bronx Zoo
We had a great time visiting the tigers and Giraffes. However the Polar Bear playing with this foam box was histerical. Reminded us of whne we used to try to sit on or hug water polo balls and then eventually they would pop up on one side or another. Awesome. It was hot. We would have enjoyed being in the pool with him!
NYC Visit
We decided to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Amazing place. We had a drink at the Bull and Bear before getting ready to head out on the town. We went to Mesa Grill for dinner. Food was amazing. Saturday we got up early and went to the Bronx Zoo. Got off on the wrong stop and had to walk to the Zoo. Would not have been so bad except it was not the nicest area of town. The animals were great. There was this peacock just walking around showing off his feathers and a monkey just minding his own business.
